So, the moment you have all been waiting for. I stamped this with Versafine Onyx Black onto SSS Fog cardstock, trimmed it down with a Sentiment Label die and then popped it up with foam tape. To finish the card off, I found a sentiment in SSS Vacation Time that I thought would fit well with the Missing You. I then die cut the Fancy Missing You twice from Neenah 80lb, and used a spray adhesive to adhere one on top of the other, and also onto the card. I trimmed the watercoloured panel down and adhered it with DST to an A2 card base made from SSS Smoke Gray cardstock. It is super pretty in real life – the Perfect Pearls gives a beautiful champagne shimmer across the card when you tilt it in the light. After the third layer, I laid some Perfect Pearls onto my mat, added some water and mixed it to a loose consistency, picked it up with a small brush, and splattered it over the panel. 0:00 1:35:52 2022 STAMPtember Exclusive Tim Holtz 162K subscribers Subscribe 45K views Streamed 7 months ago Tim Holtz shares the 2022 STAMPtember Exclusive with Simon Says Stamp +. But I didn’t want to go too bright so the trick is to use diluted paint on each layer. I then worked through the individual colours, diluting them slightly first before adding them onto the wet part of the panel – so this is a wet on wet technique and this really helps to get the colours moving around.Īfter I finished the first layer and had heat set it, I then went in with two further layers, heat setting in between to get the depth and vibrancy that I wanted. A pretty pastel rainbow! To create the wash I first laid down a layer of water onto some Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor cardstock using a flat brush. The numbers that I used are 35, 30, 33, 43, 51, 63, 139 which took me through pink, red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. I thought a loose soft watercolour background would look really pretty behind the die.įor my watercolouring I used the Gansai Tambi 36 pan set and picked seven colours to create my background. I’ve been itching to get my watercolours out for a while and this seemed like the perfect time. Today, I have very different look for you. I was sent the lovely Fancy Missing You die and yesterday I created this card. This isn’t a blog hop, so you don’t need to hop along, but you do need to go scavenging instead! September 24, 2022SeptemHello friends I’m so excited to share with you the Simon Says Stamp collaboration with Tim Holtz for STAMPtember. I should have paid more attention to the screen because I accidently cut off the poor mouse’s whiskers, but luckily he’s too busy chasing stars to notice.įor the background I ink blended Distress Oxides in Black Soot, Uncharted Mariner, Mermaid Lagoon, and Salvaged Patina on Canson Bristol Smooth. I didn’t have the coordinating dies so I used my Brother Scan and Cut. You can purchase either the stamp and die bundle or the stamp alone. The mouse is colored with Copic markers (see list below). I stamped the images on Hammermill cardstock using Hero Arts Intense Black Ink. This is a large stamp set so my card is actual 5″ x 7″ so that all the elements would fit.
